FOLKLORE IS ALIVE ! Folklore in contemporary design exhibition
A fresh perspective on traditional folklore. A joint exhibition of artists from the Visegrád countries will be presented at the gallery of Czech Centre Prague between March 4 and April 4, 2011. Free entry!
Dita Hálová, a young designer interested in folklore, was chosen to be the curator of Folklore is Alive! She invited Tomáš Kadeřábek to be the exhibition architect and Jana Hradcová to be the graphic designer.
The exhibition is prepared in coordination with Czech Centres, cultural institutes, Embassies and art schools from Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
Our partners: The Folklore Association of the Czech Republic ÚLUV Bratislava, Cepelia Poland, Design Institut, and MOME Hungary.
