Handicraft of the Łowicz Region
From September 9th until October 3rd you can visit the exhibition „Handicraft of the Łowicz Region” in the Galeria na Piętrze art gallery placed at the Konstytucji Square 5, Warsaw. You can find there most intereting works created by the participants of the contest organized by CEPELIA Foundation and Łowicz Museum.
The contest „Handicraft of the Łowicz Region” was organized unded the honour patronage of the Marshall of Łódź Voicodship and is one of the events that mark the 60th anniversary of CEPELIA. The competition reflects the current state of folk handicraft in the Łowicz Region. Its aim was to document it as well as to encourage folk artists to continue their local and family traditions. Most interesting works are presented at the exhibition, including embroidery, ceramics, paintings, sculpture and cut-outs.
