Easter Exhibition in the „Na Piętrze” Gallery

Each year in the spring time CEPELIA organizes exhibitions presenting Easter traditions in the „Na Piętrze” Gallery (Konstytucji Sq. 5, Warsaw). This year visitors could see beautifully decorated Easter eggs from serveral Polish regions created with various techniques, palms, weaved baskets, lambs, as well as sculptures, pottery and regional costumes. The exhibition was open until the end of March.

DID YOU KNOW?

During the fifties CEPELIA cooperative “Brąz Dekoracyjny” restored the monument of Fryderyk Chopin that was destroyed during the World War II. The monument, placed in the Royal Baths in Warsaw, was designed in the beginning of the XXth century by Wacław Szymanowski. New, reconstructed monument was unveiled in 1958.
