About Cepelia

Art galleries

Exhibitions organized in the CEPELIA Galeries fulfill not only a promotional but also educational role.
They make people aware of the regional distinctions and, by consequence, the need to acquire the traditional skills and maintain one’s own region’s heritage. They provide an opportunity to learn about the creative achievements of the plastician artists, which gives the basis for the activities of Cepelia’s respective manufacture and trade structures. Above all, they help the company to maintain its highly prestigious position in the area of the folk and artistic handicraft protection.

During the fifties CEPELIA cooperative “Brąz Dekoracyjny” restored the monument of Fryderyk Chopin that was destroyed during the World War II. The monument, placed in the Royal Baths in Warsaw, was designed in the beginning of the XXth century by Wacław Szymanowski. New, reconstructed monument was unveiled in 1958.
